What Is This About?Families With MS is a new community for kids, parents and those connected by love to Multiple Sclerosis. Since we began exploring this project, we have spoken with many kids and their parents. And we learned something really important. Every family said "we want community!" Each said connecting with others in similar circumstances is all-important, that community is number one on the list. So, while filming the documentary Finding Our Way, we are finding many who want to help build the foundation for that community. We are in our early, formative stage. Right now, we are finding people who want to create this community. If you want to participate, contact us or join us on one of our teleconferences. |

How Did This Get Started?Four families, each with a 17 year old daughter with MS, met in the winter of 2003. – We discovered that each of us have had very similar challenges. Among them was isolation. This was the first time we had met others walking the same path. That isolation, that unnecessary work and worry, was the inspiration for starting Families With MS. We Are The ExpertsAs people with MS, as parents of kids with MS, we have become experts. Experts in llving with a chronic disease. We are here to help each other, to strengthen each other, to ease the strain of uncertainty. There are many ways to give help. And get it. We want to share stories and advice. So, get in touch.
